New Feature: Personalize your YouTube & Flickr tag

You will now be able to personalize your YouTube and Flickr tag that you can then use to dynamically display videos and photos on your profile. Once logged in, click on the Edit Profile link. Then select the Media tab to set your personalized tag. It’s that simple.

You can now begin tagging your videos on YouTube and photos on Flickr.

Dear friends, family and colleagues:

I can’t believe that it has been almost two years since I began this little project, and here I am writing my announcement of a beta launch for the site. Why did it take so long you may ask? Well, being the neurotic perfectionist that I am, I always seemed to find something new to add, or something that I could change to make the site better. But then I realized that what I consider perfect, wouldn’t necessarily translate into perfection for the user. So, I now present to you what I believe will be an excellent tool for event organizers to manage their events. Please help us grow the site by registering today. Once you do, remember to invite your friends and colleagues from Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and many more right from Eventat.

What is Eventat.com?

Eventat helps event organizers of all sizes successfully manage and sell out their event. Posting an event on Eventat is free. Eventat will remain per-ticket-fee free until at least December 31, 2009. During this time, we look forward to receiving your feedback, in order to create the best event management and event community on the web for our users.

Eventat.com nears completion and Beta launch

After almost a year of development, we are happy to announce that we are very close to completion and Beta launch. We encourage people to continue to sign up in order to be notified of our launch date in advanced.

We are very excited about the product that we will be launching and believe that event organizers and attendees will enjoy the features that we have included and community that we hope to build. We look forward to seeing you in the next couple of weeks as we ready ourselves for the launch.

Do you use Flickr? Took pictures at an event? upload your pictures to Flickr and tag it to an event. Your picture will automatically appear on the event page for everyone to view.

If you’re a YouTube user and have some video footage from an event you attended. You can easily tag a video to an event for all to enjoy.
